Hello Friends!

Here we have put together some links of the meals I purchase, including snacks! Some of this you may have seen in our You Tube videos or in Instagram reels. We can honestly say we have tried and tested the food to consumption so we know what works and doesn’t for us…well.. Sas!

His portion size and content does vary, in general it does from dog breed to dog breed, and every now and then Sas does like to have a change – don’t we all! While we recommend these products, please consult your vet for your pets dietary needs!

Caesar Dog Food
Sas enjoys eating these either mixed with his dry kibble, in which case I divide into quarters and mush/ mix together for added flavor – or better yet during the hot summer days I press these into food molds and freeze them. They make fantastic textured cooling snacks.

Tinned Pedigree Adult Dog
Again, these are fantastic and Sasuke loves them mixed with his dry kibble or as frozen snacks. I keep them safely stored upright when we are in the car once they are opened. If Im not careful the car can smell a bit.. beefy!

Whimzee Dog Treats
These were and still are a big hit with Sas and made for very popular entertainment on Social Media. I don’t know what it is about them that freaks Sas out but good grief its hilarious and they are good at managing to keep his teeth somewhat clean.

Pedigree Dog Food Dry For Adult Dogs
Ok, so on its own Sas doesn’t really like this one too much, however when is combined with the tinned wet food or the Ceasers he will devour it all. I think it all comes down to combination of textures with him.

Pedigree Denta X
This one is more of a filler and a substitute for the Whimzee treats. Still does the job well at cleaning his teeth, but we all know that brushing your dogs teeth is best for their dental hygiene.

Greenies
The Holy Grail of all treats and probably the most expensive. There has never been a time where Sas has refused these treats and honestly I would spoil him everyday with these if I could. As a side note, when I open the packets they throw me back to when I used to work with horses on the yard, back in the UK. Same smell and Im pretty sure same texture (not that I personally have tried it!). Something about the wet hay smell on a crisp autumn morning as the mist is slowly being warmed away by the rising sun… yeah. These are the best!

This does not include all the fresh food that Sas eats as part of his dinner and snacks. I often provide him with fresh cooked chicken and minced beef as well as broccoli, carrot, cheese (in small quantities or on the rare occasion he is sick-like when he had to take pain meds for his paw), pumpkin and green beans, like peas. Don’t come at me I researched extensively before I feed him ANY human food. Not that it mattered – boys got a stomach of iron after getting into the powdered chocolate and eating chocolate covered peanuts – both of which I had put out of his reach!!
This has NO and I mean ZERO nutritional value whatsoever and is reserved for special occasions, Im also intolerant to it as well so its not always kept around, and that is bread. I only give Sas the crusts but he absolutely goes crazy for it and will whine until given some.

Hope this helps somewhat, especially if you are considering adopting a dog or you are simply at a loss as to what to get your beloved dog!
